Read More »Strasbourg in the RainJuly 3, Day 13: Jean and I enjoyed 4 days and nights in Luka Ston, on the Croatian Peljesac peninsula an hour or so north of Dubrovnik. The area remains a bit off the beaten path, and is rich in salt, oysters, seafood, olives, and wine. Is it our favorite Croatian place so far?

Read More »Run from EvelOctober 4, Day 123: I did a Sunday morning run at Eagle Lake, on those marvelous chat-rock carriage trails that wind through Acadia National Park.
I parked and made the short walk across Duck Brook Bridge to the carriage trails. I intended to run around eagle Lake, a total of about seven miles. It was a cool and wonderful fall morning, perfect for a run.
